His first book, It Was All a Dream, offers an honest examination of grief, personal accountability, brokenness, and the discovery of purpose beyond life's unexpected turns. His second book, The Making of a King, explores the transformative power of GOD's restoration through seasons of disappointment, adversity, and spiritual growth. His third book, The Race of Life, reflects on his experiences as a high school and collegiate student-athlete, drawing meaningful parallels between athletic competition and navigating life's challenges. He is currently developing his fourth book, The Breaking of Day.

A former collegiate track and field athlete at Morehouse College, Dr. Blevins earned multiple All-American honors and qualified for the U.S. Olympic Trials in the 100- and 200-meter events. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Ohio Christian University, a Master of Divinity (2014), and a Doctor of Ministry (2021) from The Interdenominational Theological Center's Charles Harrison Mason Theological Seminary in Atlanta, Georgia.

Beyond his work as an author, Dr. Blevins serves as the senior pastor of the historic Morris Cathedral Church of God in Christ, Inc., and as Superintendent of the Lily of the Valley District within the Wisconsin First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction. He is also a respected spiritual care clinician, educator, speaker, and mentor. Whether through ministry, spiritual care, or literature, his life's work reflects a commitment to helping others navigate adversity, discover their God-given purpose, and recognize the transformative possibilities within their own stories.

For Dr. Blevins, writing is more than storytelling; it is ministry beyond the pulpit. Each book is an opportunity to turn personal experiences into meaningful lessons, testimony into encouragement, and life's challenges into reminders that GOD is still working through every chapter.

The Heart of the Story

Dr. L. Michael Blevins is an accomplished author, senior pastor, and spiritual care clinician whose writing is rooted in faith, personal transformation, and the power of God's redemptive grace.

As a storyteller, Dr. Blevins uses the written word to give voice to life experiences, explore the complexities of the human journey, and encourage readers to recognize purpose in every season of life. His passion for writing stems from a desire to share the lessons learned through adversity, inspire spiritual growth, and remind others that their past does not have to define their future. Through personal testimony and biblical reflection, he writes to challenge, encourage, and equip readers to embrace healing, accountability, perseverance, and a deeper relationship with GOD.

Dr. Blevins is the author of a three-part autobiographical series chronicling his journey of faith, identity, and personal development.
